All to often, most homeowner like to stack stuff along the side of their homes. This may be convienant for a storage space but is not a suitable place for storage where pests are concerned. If possible, store items away from the home. This will aid in the efficiency of the pest treatment.
Another helpful tip to help avoid invading pests is to make sure that all trees, shrubs and plants are not touching your structure. Sure plants look nice when climbing up your house's walls, however if you are trying to limit the ways in which insects can access your home, we suggest trimming back the shrubs at least six inches from the house, trim back tree limbs so they too do not come into contact with your home.
Make sure your caulking around your home is solid so that all cracks are sealed. Don't forget to check your food pantry's caulking.
